The problem

In today's world, traveling internationally has become a complex and daunting task. The pandemic has caused widespread disruptions in the air travel industry, with countries imposing varying degrees of travel restrictions, quarantine measures, and vaccination requirements. As a result, travelers face a range of challenges, including obtaining the necessary flight documents and personal documents and navigating through the constantly changing flight restrictions and regulations.
A travel app that makes organizing your flights a breeze. Saving users the hassle of searching through emails, digging through folders, and constantly checking for updates. The app stores all flight details, tickets, and personal documents in one place, making it easy to access and manage them on the go. With a user-friendly interface that also alerts users to any changes in their upcoming flight status or gate information.

    The solution

Target audience

Pain points

🚩 There is currently no way to manage flights and documents in a single app

🚩 There is currently no way to share flights and docs with other passengers with one app

🚩 There is uncertainty about flight documents, protocols and procedures

🚩 Israelis living abroad cannot trust information they receive from various sources

User emotional journey

In order to locate and define the users emotional needs, I performed a mapping of a test subjects journey, From the moment they decide to travel to the moment they come back in order to identify the low and high points of their trip.

The emotional journey contained: Excitement and anticipation, Anxiety and uncertainty, Joy and discovery, Homesickness and fatigue, Gratitude and reflection, Sadness and nostalgia.

In Conclusion, The users high points were:

- The decision to travel

- The preparation for the trip

the users low points were:

- The documents, forms and tickets discovering and issuing

- The check in process

- The baggage claim process

Wireframes

The approach I took with the construction of the wireframes was to give the users as much as relevant information about their flights and docs as possible up front, giving them the most informative, easy way to view and present their information when needed.
